Wow so it’s been a
year since I last posted so much has changed in my life, I’m still working out
the kinks last year and this year has been a major up heaval and change and I’m
not sure if it’s settled down especailly since now Vox seems to be closing
So very long story
shorter! LoL
The split was
painful so I vanished as I didn’t want to say things that I would later regret
& I just felt the need to rant in private!
I later discovered
that I was indeed ill, another thing I really didn’t talk about, I’m a carer
have been most of my life (I have a paying job too) and I live with both my
parents because they are both disabled, and I could get either or both of
they’re disabilities. Well I finally did, october I got diagnoised with early
RA (rheumatiod arthritus) couple of link if your interested!
http://www.arthritiscare.org.uk/
Rheumatoid
arthritis is an inflammatory disease, mainly affecting joints and tendons. An
inflamed joint looks swollen and red, and appears warm to the touch. The
disease usually starts in the wrists, hands or feet, and can spread to other
joints and other parts of the body.
There is no
cure for rheumatoid arthritis, but treatment to relieve the symptoms is
effective.
And if you want to

What I will say is
those hands not mine yet but do look very much like both my great grans, grandmothers
(and to some extent my mums) but they were well into they’re 90’s & 80’s
before it got that bad & they didn’t have the knowledge they do now so only
being 32 when I showed my 1st symptoms and 37 when they finally
offically dignosd me means that I’m already on a ton of drugs to stop me
getting a hospitlized attack
Yes pain is now a
constant compainion and I have specail shoes & a walking stick but I can
walk!
I’ve come to terms
with it & I only occationally get grumpy because it’s not fare! I’m
learning that I now have limits to what I can & can’t do and everything I
do has a price whether it is pain or tiredness so I weight thing’s up a lot
more before I rush off and do something fun!
And I have to be a
lot more carefull about catching colds as I’m on strong imuno suspresents (I
have a stinking cold as I write this! & flu jabs are manditory now along
with monthly blood tests)
So that was the
major spanner in the works, but things still kept happening Domino the diabetic
cat got very ill just before christmas so we had to make the horrible dicesion
to let her go.
And after
christmas the builders had to come in & start fixing the structural
problems with the house that was caused by the local council not keeping up
they’re agreement of keeping the local street trees pruned properly so one of
them which was too close to the house was actually under the house! We had to
pack up 4 whole rooms, books, dvd, art supplies, junks and furniture and put it
all in to storage for 4 months of work which included them breaking the heating
system in the coldest winter here for a while, so much dust & me moving my
bed room 3 times as they worked on my rooms, as my part of the house was most
effected!
So I also had a
row with my internet provider Tiscali, they wanted to charge me £45 for a call
out charge & I would have to take a day off work too, to fix my net which
was nothing to do with me but they’re exchange (I’ve had this problem before
with them) so I told them to cancel it as we were about to have the work done
and I would go with another provider. So I was with out the net for about 8
months!
We are now back to
normal, and I still managed to chuck out some more stuff but I finally have my
room just how I always wanted them!
The craft shop I
taught in had to close!
Lizzy got quite
ill a while back and I thought I was going to loose her but she pulled through!
I got a very nice
female lodger K
I was running a
choir with a friend of mine from about april till july but that has fallen
through as we couldn’t get a regular pianoist!
A few friends who
are older have passed on, the vicar of the church I sometimes help out in &
whom I respected & liked retired along with his wife
And in a momet of
madness on my birthday (39 now!) I auditioned for the local panto cinderella and more shockingly I got the
part of the queen (in this vesion I think I’m a widow & ruler) rehearsals
start next week, I’m about to make a fool of myself in frount of 100's of people
again, end of November (I’ve never acted, sung & danced before in public!!) so keep fingers crossed!
I don’t feel
really ready to blog properly so I don’t know if I will transfer my blog posts
I might just copy paste a few for my personnel journal. If you do see grungedandy
again out there on the net it will probabaly be me!
But what I really
wanted to say was a huge thank you to all the vox staffers that made it
possible, all my vox neighbours & all those who visited & commented!
I hope we all
manage to catch up again somewhere out on the net, I’m a great believer of
never say good bye as I always managed to catch people up again, I’ve been in Geneva
airport and amoung the 1000’s of traverlers I managed to bump into the 1 person
that I know!
So good luck, I wish
you all health weath & most importantly HAPPINESS
So for the last
time
